Kenny Griffis, Fly Fishing Guide

Kenny is an MBA graduate with a restless spirit, an endless love for wild places, and a fly rod never far from hand. With time spent in the Rocky Mountains, he found his calling early — chasing trout in high-country streams and learning that the best days are the ones spent deep in the wilderness. What started as a passion soon turned into a lifetime pursuit, leading him across continents in search of fish, adventure, and the untamed.

Over the past 15 years, Kenny has hunted more than 25 species on the fly, from stalking the sun-drenched flats of Key West, Mexico, and Belize to casting flies on the remote rivers of Argentina, Mongolia, and the American West. Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, Tennessee, Arkansas — his boots and waders want to touch them all.

These days, he splits much of his time between home and the raw beauty of Patagonia, working closely with Hemispheres Unlimited to create unforgettable fly fishing adventures for others who live for the tug. When he’s not on the water, you’ll find him hunting, mountain biking, or chasing new trails — always with his wife Christen and their three-year-old son Atlas not far behind.

But no matter how far the road goes, nothing beats a bent rod, a wild fish, and a day lost to the water.

“The best fisherman I know try not to make the same mistakes over and over again, instead they strive to make new and interesting mistakes and to remember what they learned from them.”

Christian Schuster, Whitetail Property Management & Brand Design

Christian calls the Great Plains of Kansas home where his obsession for bowhunting thrives, with some of the world’s best Whitetail hunting habitat.  Chasing big game anywhere from Alaska down to Texas, he fell in love with the hunt as a teenager.  This passion was passed down to him by his Father and now Christian lives to pass on the spark to others who want to learn about fair chase in the wild.

Today, he manages 800 acres of Whitetail hunting habitat that produces Pope and Young class deer every single year.  Though for him, it has never been about the score.

“I’ve never been too interested how an animal scored.  For me, it’s all about the experience and the priceless memories I’ve shared with family and friends.  Every year I put countless hours of work into making sure that anyone who hunts with me, gets a truly memorable experience as well.”

Between seasons, Christian writes about his experiences and shares hunting strategies with anyone who enjoys swapping stories.
